Exhibition: David Hockney at Centre Pompidou
Dive into 1960s Britain and Pop Art
A British painter (b. 1937) and contributor to the famous Pop Art Movement in the 1960s, David Hockney is considered one of the most influential British artists of the 20th century.
The exhibition (transferred from the Tate Britain gallery in London) gathers dozens of his main works: paintings, photographs, engravings and drawings. The famous swimming pool series, double portraits and video settings will immerse visitors into that particular 1960s atmosphere.
The exhibition runs until Oct. 23rd: only a few weeks left!
